The Limb Reconstruction System is designed for the treatment of limb reconstruction and lengthening due to fresh fracture, non-union with major soft-tissue defect in the long bones of the lower limb, bone loss with shortening, and the correction of the deformity. The LRS fixator consists of an assembly of clamp which can slide on a rigid rail and can be connected by Compression distraction units.
The innovation in the LRS has produced improved efficiency; increasing its ease of application in deformity correction, joint contracture, and bone transport with short segments.
